25 fun facts about Wyatt and I.

We started dating on March 4th, 2009. (5.5 years ago, ca-razy!)
Said our “I loves you’s” two weeks later. (Hey, we obviously meant it.)
Our favorite T.V. show is Big Bang Theory.
Wyatt loves his mornings and I love my nights. Early bird + insomniac = true love
My biggest pet peeve about him is that he’s constantly do weird things with his mouth.
His biggest pet peeve about me is…he apparently can’t think of one right now. (mmm-hmm sure)
Wyatt’s a CLEAN FREAK and I, sadly, am the messy one.
Calling us dog lovers is an understatement.

We’re completely opposite people down to the smallest things.
But our morals and values are identical.
He eats chicken & veggies all day long while I’m over here eating hot fries & chocolate strawberries.
I’m the funny one in this relationship. (He won’t like that one, but its true.)
He’s more scared of spiders than I am.
Steve Carrell is our favorite.
I sing to him in the car (totally off key) daily.
Wyatt has the best luck and I definitely don’t.
He taught me how to drive a stick shift in a black slug bug when we were 15 in the middle of no where.
We laugh more than we breathe.
Wyatt’s a Taurus and I’m a Virgo.
I still wear my promise ring that he gave me 4.5 years ago.
Our favorite thing to do is dinner and a movie.
Our nicknames are so embarrassingly cute. I dont even know why I’m typing this right now. We call each other Booger Sugar, or Sugar Booger. Oh gosh, I’m gonna regret that one.
He took me on a helicopter ride around our city and had “Prom?” in lights on the ground. (Spoiled? Yes.)
We’re each others best best friends and we love each other unconditionally.

I can’t wait to look back, 80 years from now, and look at these photos and know exactly where we were at in our lives and in our relationship. He’s my best friend. I love him and I love these photos. Typical Fall Outfit

From the dark lip, the boots, and the purse to match it’s officially a typical fall outfit. Sorry. I can’t help myself sometimes. I think this look is great for almost every type of girl. A country girl like Jessie James would rock this and even someone like Kylie Jenner could pull this off as well. It has a little bit of everything but still so simple at the same time. To be honest, at first I wasn’t happy with this look but then I realized I didn’t have any lipstick on. LIPSTICK CHANGES EVERYTHING. Am I right ladies, or am I right? If you still haven’t taken a dip in the lipstick pool, I suggest you do that…yesterday. Lipstick pulls a basic outfit together and completes the entire look oh so effortlessly. Not to mention the confidence it gives. Give a girl some lipstick and she will conquer the world.

I love getting emails and comments from all of you saying you enjoy reading my posts just as much as you enjoy looking at the pictures. I’ve never ever EVER thought of myself as a good writer. I write what I feel, whether it’s witty or honest, I’m strictly being me. Thank you, all 1,170 of you, thank you for allowing me to be myself on here and for loving the non-writer that I am. I will never be one for big words or a large vocabulary. I’m not here to fake it. I’m a dummy when it comes to writing and I think I’ll stick to that. I could never come to MY BLOG and act like someone else. That’s a big no no. I respect other bloggers and just people in general who stay true to themselves. Why be someone else when being you is so much better? I can always assure you that the things I write on here, comes from my own brain and more importantly, my own heart. Always remember that the girl you’re reading is the same girl that’s typing. 100%.

I hopped on the mustard yellow train a long time ago and I don’t plan on getting off. The mustard color section in my closet continues to grow and grow. I will always fall head over heels for this beautiful color when Autumn comes around. Can we talk about this beret hat though? IN LOVE! I’ve been eyeing it at Anthropologie forever. I don’t own anything like it and I don’t know why. I’m so in love with the way it makes me feel. I like to believe I’m in France when I wear it. It’s a bummer I don’t speak french…or any foreign language for that matter. I’ve also been loving the drop waist/peplum skirt trend. It’s unique and I adore it. I hope this post inspires you to get a beret hat or even a rhinestone top because this outfit made me feel awesome and I want every one to feel this way when they get ready in the morning and have that feeling last throughout their day. We’re all beautiful the way we are but fashion is the best way to express ourselves without having to say a single word. What does your outfit tell the world? My outfit says, “I’m happy! Bonjour!”

My September Dress

You’ve been following my blog a long time if you already know my love for mustard yellow. Its unreal. I love unique colors in general but when I think of September, I think of mustard yellow. That’s just the way it is. That’s why I chose this little H&M number as my official September dress. It’s so flattering on me considering I don’t have much. It adds curves where I kind of lack them. Let’s just say “I DIDNT get it from my mama.” Hi mom. I’ve always been small, that’s the way God made me, so when I find something that gives me a little somethin’ extra…put it in my shopping bag and lets go. I love a dress that can boost my confidence a little. I thought this print was unique as well, it adds that bold factor that I’m constantly searching for. Done and done.
