Sparks of Gold

From my necklace, to my shoes, to my trousers you can tell I’m a sucker for gold detailing. These moss colored trousers are perfect. Feminine, yet, slouchy. Which is my favorite type of bottoms. The gold diamonds on them is what stole my heart. I’ll put anything on my body that has some type of gold looking anything on it. I saw these pants at Anthropologie and I said “Take my money right now.” These bottoms aren’t the only thing that stole the show. Let’s talk about this necklace for a second. Overalls Over All, Baby

Overalls have always been my favorite item of clothing but good ones can be hard to find. Figuring out a good outfit can be harder. I think the easiest way to rock some overalls this fall is a sweater (or cropped sweater like mine) and combat boots. Don’t forget to accessorize. To some of you, overalls might be a bold choice, but I swear they are so fun. If you’re the type that is always worried about how other people see you, thats not the way to live sweetheart. It’s all about how YOU see you and how YOU feel. You cannot hold yourself back from wearing an amazing outfit just because you think others will judge you. I made that decision a long time ago and I’ve never looked back. When you think about it, life is too short to wear a t-shirt and jeans. Have some fun with your outfits. People will appreciate that you let your personality shine through. Trust me.

I just realized I’m wearing a nude lip. Oh my gosh. That never happens. You guys know I’m stuck on the wine colored lipstick at the moment. It’s weird seeing me in a normal lip color. BEFORE YOU GO, check out a more girly take on this cropped sweater that I styled –> here.

Chartreuse & Tulle

Hey guess what? You know that neon vomite green color, otherwise known as chartreuse? Well, it’s my favorite color of all time. I’ve said this before but unique colors are my favorite. I get all sorts of happy when I see this color. Weird? Ya…a little. I know I wear this skirt all the time but thats because it goes with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. There’s not one thing that can look bad when its paired with this tulle skirt. I wish I could tell you all wear to buy one but I got this years ago at a lovely boutique in Durango, CO. I’ve never looked back. It’s one of those pieces that I will never ever get rid of, even if you paid me. It’s too stunning and I’ve made way too many memories in it. When I’m in any sort of doubt, I run to this little guy. He has my back that’s for sure. Also, I’ve been very impressed with the H&M Fall Collection this year. I’ve bought more from them this year than ever before. It’s still not my absolute favorite place to shop but they do have great pieces that aren’t too expensive if you’re on a budget like me. This top, for example, is under $50 AND I get loads of compliments when I wear it. Not too mention it’s real cozy. That’s an A+ in my book.

The Perfect Dress

Are you looking for the perfect dress? You can stop searching my lady because it’s right here. You’re welcome. I think everyone and their mother owns this Anthropologie dress. I feel like I see it everywhere. My favorite fashion bloggers rock this dress all the time. It’s even more beautiful in person, trust me. It’s truly one of those dresses that you can wear all year long. I’m constantly searching for new ways to wear it because I wear it so often. Adding this mustard yellow bomber and belt made this baby doll dress a little more fall appropriate and a little more fun. This dress caught my eye because it reminds me of my Spanish heritage. I feel like I can wear this dancing to spanish music while cooking green chili enchiladas in the kitchen with my mama. Muy Bonita!

Magazines & Converse

Easily the two things that I can’t live without most days. My magazine and my pair of converse shoes. It’s funny because they both seem completely opposite from one another but that’s just me. I’m a little bit of everything. I get most of my inspiration from fashion magazines. That’s the main reason I’d love to work for one some day. I find some sort of idea on every page. Whether it’s fashion, makeup, hair or even life tips, you can find it all in one small book. Magazines are sacred. It takes a lot for me to throw one away because it’s like throwing away diamonds. Too much beauty in one small thing. Look at me, I’m such a fashion blogger. Whatever, I like what I like okay? I couldn’t imagine a life without em. There’s something magical when I throw on my pair of dirty converse after wearing my Zara heels all day and hopping on the couch and reading a magazine. It’s my happy place for sure. It’s my way of saying “DO NOT DISTURB,” I’m in my own little world.
