My husband. My Finley. My family back home in New Mexico. My marriage. My friends. My health. My faith. I have so many things to be thankful for, regardless of the struggles I’ve faced. I love this time of the year because we’re reminded on what really matters in this life. It’s about love and its about laughter. Wyatt and I have made a lot of sacrifices since moving to NYC and I’ve learned that it’s not the material things that matter. It’s our family that brings me that unimaginable love and satisfaction. It’s Finley sleeping on my chest. It’s walks with Wyatt in Central Park. Those little things are what make my life worth living. I’m so grateful, unexplainably grateful, for my life.

I’m also thankful for each one my readers, for encouraging me, supporting me and loving me. You guys are the best. Happy Thanksgiving sweet friends. I hope you enjoy every moment of it. Wyatt and I will be attending Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning and then spending the rest of the day munching and napping- just the two of us…and Finley.

Ready For The Holidays

img_61702 img_6860 collage_fotor img_6750 img_61827 img_6838 img_61727

Thanksgiving is around the corner. Christmas is quickly approaching. It’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear to all those special family gatherings, work parties and other sweet holiday celebrations. This is such a magical time of the year. Not only do you want to show up for it, you want to show up looking and feeling radiant! Your outfit should be dazzling, daring and BRILLIANT! This colorful and festive dress will most definitely be worn to my husbands work holiday party and beyond. I think this flashy little number can be worn outside the holiday season as well with its chic striped print and off the shoulder detail. I mean it. It was love at first sight. I also added this statement lip shaped clutch for a touch of merry-merry red.

Oh holiday season. I am ready for you. New York City is such a wonderful place to be this time of year. I can’t wait.

Hello November

Hello November!

I can’t believe how fast this year is coming to an end. I’m looking forward to the Holidays this year because it will be Wyatt and I’s first Thanksgiving and Christmas together as a married couple! We’re a little bummed we didn’t get to dress up for Halloween this year. We never really get into Halloween like most do. I’m hoping next year we can make up for it. Costume or not, we still had a blast! We went to Heidi Klum’s 17th Annual Halloween Party in The Village. It was so epic seeing so many celebrities. I’m hoping to stumble across some pictures of Wyatt and I in the background of the paparazzi photos. Hehe.

Cozy In Central Park

You haven’t lived if you haven’t seen Central Park in the Fall. It’s my favorite place in Manhattan. Once the leaves have changed color and the hot chocolate in my hand is warm…well good luck getting me out of there. I could stay for hours and hours reading a book, pondering life with Wyatt and strolling the paths on foot or on a bike. There’s no better way to do Central Park in the fall than being cozy in a vibrant and patterned cardigan. I decided to transform this stunning cardigan into a dress and cinched with a belt. I love the way it turned out.

My Zumba Outfit

img_5267 img_52880 img_5270 img_5297 img_5288 img_53111img_5273

Coming from a girl that loved being active and danced her whole life, it’s quite ironic that fitness is no longer a part of my daily, weekly or (embarrassingly) monthly routine. I’m unmotivated. I’d like to think my lack of motivation comes from not being able to find a fitness program that suits me. I’m on the hunt for a great dance company/studio in the NYC area if anyone knows any. I would love to take some barre classes for toning but I’m more interested in some freestyle, hip-hop based dance classes where I can get dowwwn, if you know what I mean. In the meantime I love staying active and participating in some Zumba every now and then. It releases endorphins and all the negative energy while still having a blast. Working out shouldn’t be so serious. I highly recommend trying it ladies if you haven’t.

I can’t say goodbye without mentioning how absolutely adorable this work out set it is. I’m so in love with the soft blue shade, detailing and the material…oh my.

The best workout gear that will actually make you want to workout.

P.S. My sweet Finley was very eager to be in these photos and I’m so happy we decided to let him join us. He’s such a natural! Maybe I should sign him up for some doggie modeling. Wink wink.
