Femme Lace Up

Screen Shot 2016-07-22 at 1.52.36 PM If I had to pick, I would say that I am more of a dress kind of gal. I’ll rock a dress any day of the week. If I were to wear a blouse and jeans, it would have to be a pretty special blouse. I absolutely love this floral printed and flutter sleeved blouse that I snagged recently. It was perfect for a day out and about, running errands and going out for some drinks with my best friend. I felt romantic and feminine in it without even having to try-What girl doesn’t love that? I received so many compliments that I might just have stock up on more must have blouses for the summer. I paired it with these bow-tie pink mules and the rest is history.

Snakeskin

There’s something so fashion forward about a snakeskin print. I only ever buy something in this particular print if it’s special and combined with good, solid material. There’s a fine line between tacky snakeskin and classy snakeskin…you really don’t want to cross that line because sometimes you can’t come back from that. I fell in love with this dress because of it’s scuba-like material and fit and flare silhouette. The exposed zip in the back is a nice touch too.

By the way, these orange shoes are life.

Orange Red

I had been eyeing this bright orange red dress for awhile now. I ended up snagging it on mega sale at Anthropologie recently and I haven’t been able to take my eyes off of it. It shines so bright in my closet along with my other bright orange pieces. I’m starting to see a theme here. It’s easily my all time favorite color to wear.

Wyatt and I went to some festival in downtown Denver and ran off to shoot these photos before the sun went down. We brought Finley along for the adventure because we read that taking him out and about is healthy. He needs to socialize. Nearly every person that passed had to come up and say hi. I’m happy to share the puppy breath and sweet kisses but sometimes enough is enough! Just kidding, but really though, he draws a lot of attention on himself. He can’t help it…he’s that cute.

Country Concert Outfit

A few weekends ago Wyatt and I went to our first country concert together. We saw our favorites, Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett. Ugh. We had the time of our lives. I wish I could relive that night over and over. The music, the people…that snapback on Thomas Rhett. Oh my. We sung and danced our hearts out: It was the perfect date night.

I wasn’t into country until Wyatt got me hooked. I think I’m a fan of all genres of music but there’s something about country that makes me happy. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a drive with the windows rolled down if you know what I mean. I can’t wait for our next concert, whomever it may be, as long as it’s with Wyatt. I love my concert buddy..or should I say concert HUBBY.

The Perfect Accessory (Meet My Puppy)

Dear Readers, I’d like for you to meet our newest little addition to our family, Finley Bear. He is a 6.5 weeks old chocolate Toy Poodle, currently weighing at 1.5 pounds. He’s the sweetest and most ornery dog you’ll ever meet. He’s teething so he absolutely loves to nibble on everything. He likes to wake me up at three in the morning to bite my ears or to chew on his loudest squeaky toy. I don’t mind it one bit though. He’s too cute to be angry at. He’s only been a part of our family for a few days now but he’s absolutely captured our hearts. He’s brought so much joy into our lives regardless of the lack of sleep.
