Romper Under $25 #2 (Target Series)

IMG_33504 IMG_33499 IMG_33512 IMG_33491 IMG_33509

Hello fashion friends! We are back at it again with my favorite affordable rompers in collaboration with Target. I wanted to show you that you can have a great summer wardrobe with fun texture and pattern for less. Today’s style is inspired by the bohemian girl in all of us. The fringe, fedora and floral print says it all, not to mention the statement boots. As far as comfort goes, this romper takes the cake. It feels like pajamas in the best way and the coolest part about it is that you can throw this on and get out in there in sunshine, no hassle! What’s not to love about that.

Target, you’ve done it again.

Romper Under $25 #1 (Target Series)

IMG_33478 IMG_33465 IMG_33480 IMG_33457 IMG_33473

Hey Guys! Today I’m kicking off a new series featuring rompers that are just under $25. I’ve teamed up with Target to bring you some great summer buys that you need in your wardrobe right this minute. I wanted to start this series off with my personal favorite embroidered crochet romper. I feel like I belong at a music festival in this outfit. Anyone have any concert tickets? You can obviously wear this romper by itself but I wanted to share with you how to style it to it’s maximum capacity. I wore a trendy handkerchief around my neck, cinched the romper with a belt and tied the look together with my timeless combat boots.

I’m so excited about this Target series of three. I hope to give you more affordable clothing options in the future. You don’t need to spend a fortune to feel good and look good. Am I right?

Oh Target, you’ve never done wrong.

With Love,

Burnt

IMG_3276 IMG_33304 IMG_33302 IMG_32273 IMG_33306

Burnt is the color of this dress but also the state of my being. In other words: Girl, I’m burnt out. I always do this to myself. I go go go until I end up sleeping for 3 days straight not remembering what planet I’m on. I get decent sleep but rest? None. I need ME time. I’m the type of person that needs to be alone with just my thoughts and maybe even a journal. I like going on walks by myself or taking coconut baths. These little things recharge me and make me feel alive again. My brain has been going a mile a minute with work related things, family things, friend things, wifey things that I’ve forgotten the key thing: Me. I’ve forgotten what it’s like to be alone. I’ve been constantly surrounded by friends, family, and Wyatt. Don’t get me wrong, I love it. I love being surrounded with love and laughter but sometimes it’s just nice to be in the midst of my own company. Just me, myself and I. To take a step back from all of the buzz, the conversation and hoopla and just…breathe. I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to do just that but I’m eagerly waiting. I want to curl up somewhere in the sunshine with a good book and some good thoughts.

Recharge. Reset. Repeat.

Perfectly Victorian

IMG_32669 IMG_32205 IMG_32231 IMG_32209 IMG_32213 IMG_32466 IMG_32212

Perfectly perfect in every way. This effortlessly shaped dress is the definition of perfection. This dress, embroidered with a hint of crochet trim, reminds me of a dress that I had when I was a little girl. My great grandma made it for me from scratch and I wore it proud on my 5th birthday. It’s amazing to me what a simple stitch or silhouette does to your senses. I feel calm, beautiful and powerful in a stunning dress like this one. Especially when it reminds me of my childhood and how far I’ve come.

Hold on tight to the things that bring out the inner child in you.

Shapeless dresses have and always been my kind of thing. The more maternity looking, the better. There’s such a stigma if what you’re wearing is “too flow-y” or “like a tent.” Women automatically think that they look pregnant. I don’t know about you but when I see someone in a gorgeous swing dress, I’m not thinking maternity, I’m thinking DAMN GIRL! WERK! The more flow-y the better in my book. I strive for comfort more than anything and a dress like this provides that and so much more.

Be confident: Wear a babydoll dress.

Our Yankees VS. Rockies tickets are purchased and ready to enjoy. We are anxiously waiting for June 14th to arrive because we absolutely love baseball but more importantly, LOVE the Yankees. I’ll admit, I only enjoy socializing at baseball games and eating the overly greasy foods than actually watching the game but whatever, I’m still a Yankee girl. The last time we watched The Yankees we were in NYC for my birthday, nearly 10 months ago. We can’t wait! I plan on rocking this vintage style baseball hat along with something minimal for the game, pretty similar to this outfit post. I always have to bring along my trusty converse of course because we like to walk around the stadium  beforehand and pre-game a little if you know what I mean. I don’t typically wear baseball hats because I’ve always told myself that I look hideous in them. I thought that about lipstick once upon a time but then I gave it a try and look at me now. I can’t live without it. That’s the thing about finding your personal style, you have to TRY new things. I took a risk and purchased this hat and now I’m hooked. I’ll be rocking them all summer long.
