Just Peachy

IMG_3573IMG_3600 IMG_3563 IMG_3572 IMG_3558 IMG_3560

Oh hello. Here’s my short hair debut on my blog. Everything is just peachy. My new short hair and everything else in life are going just great. I’ve been wanting to chop off my hair for awhile. I wanted something summer-y and fresh so one day I just did it and never turned back. Sure, there’s been just a few moments that I’ve missed my long hair but guess what…It’s just hair and it will grow back. Wyatt absolutely LOVES my hair this way. He wants me to rock it for the rest of my life. Such a sweetheart. I love this length and I’m really excited for it to grow into a longer bob. That length is my favorite.

April 22nd on a perfect Pasadena day. 75 degrees and sunny with no cloud in sight. All of us girls slept in until 9-ish. It was slow morning, drinking Starbucks in our hotel room and giggling about the big day ahead of us. I woke up in a panic with my nerves completely out of control. I was shaky and nauseous: I was a mess. I don’t even remember what exactly I was worried about. Maybe the thought that this day was all about Wyatt and I or maybe it was walking down the aisle with all eyes on me. Not for second did I second guess Wyatt though. I knew for sure that he was the man that I wanted to marry. Thinking that gave me comfort…along with a little Rosé.

We headed straight towards the venue to get ready. We messed around for half an hour or so, dancing, laughing and SnapChatting until the beauty crew showed and it then it was time for business. In a small room, with teal colored walls and windows on every corner we got prettied up listening to Ashlyn’s playlist and drinking a little more to calm our nerves.

I had a moment in between the “Where’s the bobby pins?” and “Can I borrow your lipstick?” to just grasp what exactly was happening. All of these girls, some I met in middle school, others oversea and one way back in elementary school, were all here for me. These sweet girls packed their suitcases and flew from wherever they were to California just to stand by my side when I say “I Do.” I am so lucky to have met them and was grateful that they were there with me.

I love you Ashlyn, Hannah, Autumn, Nicolette and McKala. Forever grateful for you.

Getting ready for the big day was only half the fun. The next post I’ll show you my favorite ceremony pictures that forever changed my life. Stay tuned.

Romper Under $25 #2 (Target Series)

IMG_33504 IMG_33499 IMG_33512 IMG_33491 IMG_33509

Hello fashion friends! We are back at it again with my favorite affordable rompers in collaboration with Target. I wanted to show you that you can have a great summer wardrobe with fun texture and pattern for less. Today’s style is inspired by the bohemian girl in all of us. The fringe, fedora and floral print says it all, not to mention the statement boots. As far as comfort goes, this romper takes the cake. It feels like pajamas in the best way and the coolest part about it is that you can throw this on and get out in there in sunshine, no hassle! What’s not to love about that.

Target, you’ve done it again.

Romper Under $25 #1 (Target Series)

IMG_33478 IMG_33465 IMG_33480 IMG_33457 IMG_33473

Hey Guys! Today I’m kicking off a new series featuring rompers that are just under $25. I’ve teamed up with Target to bring you some great summer buys that you need in your wardrobe right this minute. I wanted to start this series off with my personal favorite embroidered crochet romper. I feel like I belong at a music festival in this outfit. Anyone have any concert tickets? You can obviously wear this romper by itself but I wanted to share with you how to style it to it’s maximum capacity. I wore a trendy handkerchief around my neck, cinched the romper with a belt and tied the look together with my timeless combat boots.

I’m so excited about this Target series of three. I hope to give you more affordable clothing options in the future. You don’t need to spend a fortune to feel good and look good. Am I right?

Oh Target, you’ve never done wrong.

With Love,

Sunflower Summer

IMG_3336 IMG_3324 IMG_3337 IMG_3330 IMG_3319

It hit me just the other day that it’s officially Summer. This whole time I thought we were still in Spring, my second favorite season of the year but summer, oh summer takes the cake. I was born in the summer heat so there’s something about this time of the year that makes me happier than normal. This could also be the extra Vitamin D intake but you get the point. What I love the most about summer is not just fact that the days are little longer or that there’s so much more room for activities but that everything seems possible. You can be anyone you want, you can do anything you want. It feels like freedom doesn’t it? This time of the year is seriously the best. I love a little sunflower too. Sunflowers are on my Top 5 favorite flowers list. My home has flowers in every room because that’s what summer does to you.

Summer also makes you want to buy every maxi dress in the entire universe because why not. They provide so much comfort that you just want everyone to know what it feels like to put on a maxi dress and walk around feeling absolutely amazing. This maxi dress in particular was a hard one to catch. Within just a couple of days, this dress sold out in every size company wide. I placed a backorder order and it arrived TWO months later. Two months! I’ve been impatiently waiting for this beauty, this layered cream beauty to come into the mail. I absolutely love it for any occasion. It’s very easy to wear in a casual setting as well as a dressy one.

Okay, I’ve done a lot of talking. See you guys next time.

With Love,
