16th Street

I finally took a break from the norm. If you know me, than you know that I really needed this time away from my thoughts. It was nice to take a break from reality and take a trip to Denver, Colorado for the weekend. I have to thank my boyfriend for that. He truly is amazing and knows me better than I think I know myself at times. Friday, the day of the drive, I said I didn’t want to go anymore and I laid in bed the entire morning lost in my own sadness (which seems to happen a lot nowadays) and he literally dragged me out of my bed, made me pack, bought me Subway and we were off. I can’t thank him enough for all that he does for me. Saying I am a lucky girl is an understatement. I think it’s beyond healthy to get lost in a city where no one knows your name. It’s a beautiful feeling. I speak for a lot of people when I say we need to get out of our heads as much as possible. Daily. Weekly. Whenever you get a chance.

Don’t think. Just do.

(Unless you want to rob a bank, I’d rethink that.)
