My Favorite 2014 Trend

IMG_4358IMG_4365IMG_4369 IMG_4362 IMG_4364 IMG_4368IMG_4366Can you believe that clothing stores are already prepping for Spring 2015 trends? It’s unbelievable how time just flies. I want to hop off this train because it’s just going way too fast. I know every single season has something new to bring to the table when it comes to the fashion world. Some designer somewhere in the world comes up with this brilliant trend that every single person and their mother rocks for the rest of the year. Spring time has become one of my favorite times of the year not only because of that but because of the gorgeous colors that surrounds it. Spring is the time for new beginnings. It’s the time of growth, prosperity, and pastel colors. I know pastel was a huge hit last year but I really do believe that these mash of colors never really go out of style. Heck, I rock them all year long. All you have to do is add some leggings and boots and you’re set for fall, girlfriend.

I know you’ve seen this little “skirt” before in one of my older posts. Shocking, but it’s actually a dress. I’ve only worn it layered like this because I think its so fun to overlap sweaters with dresses. Also, for the simple fact that it’s only January and I need to cover up. Combining sweaters and dresses was totally a 2014 trend for me. I’ve inspired a few of my friends and co-coworkers and they admit to me that doing this has totally reinvented their wardrobe. Look at all the possibilities ahead of you now! I dare you to try this little trend yourself!

  1. I’ve started combining dresses and sweaters lately as well! Not only does the combo look flawless (as if I’m wearing skirts and sweaters), they also provide an extra layer on top!

  2. So incredibly chic! I love how you belted the baggy sweater so you don’t lose shape. I’m definitely going to have to try it out! I tend to only wear crop sweater over my dresses but this has opened up the possibilities!
