Cozy Days

IMG_1667 IMG_1684 IMG_1675 IMG_1637IMG_1636

Merry Christmas Eve my friends. What a wonderful year it has been and I hope all of you can say the same. Wyatt and I have had a blast decorating our tree and making home feel so festive and warm. From hitting up Target and going Christmas tree shopping, we made each moment such an adventure. I’m so happy and blessed to share this life with him and create traditions of our own. One way I’ve been staying cozy this holiday season is with this single color co-ordinate outfit. I picked up this casual outfit at Zara, my all time favorite place, and haven’t looked back since. I’ve been so in love with browns lately. I’ve added more brown in my wardrobe in the past month than in my entire life. I’ve been really inspired by the way Kanye and his fashion line can make neutrals looks so good.

That’s all for now. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas with loved ones. Guard your heart and do whatever you need to do to stay positive and happy because there’s a lot of unneeded hate in this world and a lot of negative people in our ears. All we can do is pray for those that don’t know the meaning of love and humility.

God Bless!

With love,

Holiday Party 2015

IMG_1750 IMG_1753 IMG_1770 IMG_1758 IMG_1746

Holiday parties are the perfect excuse to go all out with all things tulle, glitter, sequins and bright red lipstick. This year I wanted to make a statement with this soft pink organza skirt and keep the rest on top simple and comfortable. I wore this to my work Holiday party and felt like a million bucks. I recommend every girl to own a organza skirt, no matter the color or length, you will feel amazing. And feeling good is all that matters right?

Also, I’m warning you guys that I did not plan on wearing this fur collar in the next 3-5 posts but I am. I cannot help it. It dresses up every single outfit. It has BY FAR been my favorite purchase this year. I’m sad to let this accessory go when the warm weather comes back around. Good thing I live in Colorado where it feels like winter 10 months out of the year.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Evergreen

IMG_1598 IMG_1601 IMG_1610 IMG_1615 IMG_1605

I’m forever an evergreen girl.

I always love the aroma of pine when I walk into a cozy home during Christmas time. It soothes my soul. This year we got a real tree for our very first tree together and it’s perfection. I decided to blend in with the pine by wearing my favorite dark green, blended wool dress by Sparrow while Christmas tree shopping. I purchased last years sleeveless teal version and couldn’t resist this years version. I’m not the biggest fan of wool but I’ll wear this dress forever and ever. I’ll also purchase anything with three-quarter sleeves. I was reading the reviews on this dress online and noticed a comment that this dress is amazing for curvier girls. I think what I love about the style of this dress more than anything is that it looks great on every kind of figure. It’s kind of amazing paired with my all time favorite fur collar and of, course, my UGGS.

Oh, UGGS. I call them my happy place because they’re just that…happy.

What The Fuzz?

IMG_1567 IMG_1591-2 IMG_1570 IMG_1563 IMG_1588-2 IMG_1587-2

Happy Thursday friends!

My current bullet proof outfitting go-to has been pairing a mini skirt with some textured or printed leggings. It’s school girl inspired. It’s a simple way to stay warm and mix and match with all of my favorite skirts at the same time. 2015 has been the year of skirts for me. I’m stocked up to the max with nearly every single color imagined and I don’t have to feel guilty about it because skirts are absolutely an all year around kind of thing. I love this out in particular because it’s festive without being too obvious. This fuzzy top has quickly become one of my holiday favorite tees. It really elevates anything you pair with it and it’s super feminine which you all know I love femme. I am femme. My existence is all things femme.

Enough about the outfit. Let’s talk life. I’m currently bundled up on the couch, watching a little Big Bang Theory and fascinating over our very first Christmas tree together. I feel so happy and thankful  this holiday season but there’s just one thing that’s been on my mind more than usual: A baby. I was born to be a mother. I’ve had the urge to start a family since I was young, well young-ER. I feel like it’s my destiny and I can’t be whole without it. I love celebrating the seasons with Wyatt but I really can’t another second until our family of two becomes a family of three. I’m conflicted because I do want to be married before we start a family but the wedding of my dreams is taking longer than I thought to plan. We’re tempted to elope and start our family but we really can’t decided. It’s been bumming me out. All of my childhood friends have recently become mothers and even though I’m so very happy for them, I’m still so sad. I want to be a mommy too.

Hoodie

IMG_1509 IMG_1518 IMG_1537 IMG_1506 IMG_1513 IMG_1504

Mustard yellow in a hoodie form? SIGN ME  UP 100 TIMES! I feel so “Colorado” in this little ensemble. I’m sure I’m far from the mark but sometimes it’s okay to want to fit in for a day right? When I think of how people here in Colorado dress, I think of this: Relaxed, Distressed Denim, and Hoodies. I love a good laid-back look, especially on my days off. All I want to wear are my favorite boyfriend jeans and something oversized. I do love how most people in this state can make looking comfortable so chic and interesting. My style has been challenged and continues to grow and evolve the more I move from state to state. Everywhere shows me something new. I can’t wait to see what my next home teaches me.

If you’re in the market for something cuddly, warm, and SUPER CUTE then I think you’re in need of this mustard hoodie. It’s the best of both worlds and just might be my favorite new piece in my closet.

With love,
